Speaker bio and what they will share:
Joannie Huang:
Joannie Huang was in IT industry as programmer and project manager before 2017. After she joined several local tech communities and contributed time to meet great talents in technology fields, she changed her career path into EdTech. She start teaching kids programming in/out of the schools. Also conducted several EdTech events with Girls in Tech Taiwan and Women Who Code Taipei. She was nominated by Girls in Tech Taiwan 2016 40-under-40. And put her mission to encourage more females around her life to have lifelong learning and get away from confortzone! She believes “Done is Better Than Perfect!”, once you tried, you’ll see how powerful you’re.
Darla Huang:
Darla Huang is Deputy Product manager in Hearst Taiwan, who has more than 7 years experience in digital media. She also volunteers in Ladies that UX Taipei, a international society which aim in supporting female UXers to build connections, share their expertise and reach their full potential.
As a product person plus UXer, she devotes in developing digital services that provide good user experience. She believes that a successful business model is highly combined with user goal. She will share her experience that how to implement new fuctional teams in organizations and how to build influence within stakeholders.
Candy Hsu:
Candy Hsu, a former auditor of PwC, is now proudly the co-founder of IKALA group, an almost 6-year strong startup emphasizing its focusing on unleashing video streaming and marketing technology. She has always been guided and inspired by curiosity, which has led her to a non-traditional career path, from an accounting firm to a hi-tech startup. Her expertise and specialty in finance and accounting not only helped this emerging startup win several rounds of successful funding, but also assisted her in running a successful team. She will share her story of choosing the road less travelled, dealing with investors, being bold for taking any possible chance, and her learnings along the way.
Szu-Ying Chen:
Szu-Ying Chen (陳思穎) is the founder and lead service designer of a social enterprise, Factory Nextgen. She devotes to helping small manufacturing enterprises to innovate and sustain by providing technology support and connecting with the younger generation Szu-Ying will share how she applies service design methodology and digital solutions into the traditional industry and turns the dying factories to become the powerhouse for the younger generation to show their capacity.
