His bio:
With close to 20 years of experience in General Management, Marketing and Strategic Alliances, and currently based in Tokyo, I have had the chance to work across industries in a number of countries. In addition to senior roles with multinational companies, I am equally savvy as an entrepreneur, having started my career launching my own startup, and currently as an accredited Executive Leadership Coach.
I currently work as Head of New Business and Innovation at Google, and I have also served as Head of Global Partnerships, Gaming and Mobile and Head of Global Partnerships, Southeast Asia at Google. In the past, I also contributed to the growth of the industry as Vice-Chair of the Innovation Committee of the Interactive Advertising Bureau in Singapore, a globally affiliated trade association of leading companies in the digital advertising sector. Previously, I worked with Electronic Arts, Yahoo!, and Nokia, focusing on building and bringing to market software, applications and digital services and hardware in the mobile, gaming, and digital media spaces globally, and across Asia Pacific.
As an advocate of paying back to the community, I do regular work with educational institutions, using my professional experience to educate the next generation of leaders. Among my roles to this end, I served as a Lecturer at Singapore’s Temasek Polytechnic, focusing on Digital Ecosystems, Digital Marketing, Technology & Digital Advertising, Mobile & Messaging, Display Marketing, Remarketing, and Native, Programmatic, and Rewarded Advertising, and I routinely act as guest speaker at universities and business schools. In the past I worked as Board Director of the Avelife Foundation, a non-profit educational NGO that drives green innovation, based in Singapore.
I currently spend my free time discovering Japan with my family, reading a wide selection of books, working out, and practicing kickboxing.
